Running Wild

Saturday, August 29

Enjoy a unique opportunity to run at Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge! The 3 and 5-mile courses loop past wetlands and other wildlife habitat, ending close to the starting line. While runners will enjoy the course (and prizes), this is an ideal event for walkers- the scenic beauty is best enjoyed at a slower pace.

Some of the day's highlights include: 3 and 5 mile routes, free 1 and 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run, team competition, handmade bird feeders for prizes and medals for all Fun Run participants! There will also be FREE educational events, open to the public which include fishing, hands-on wetland critters and live snakes!
