Conservation Board Member

The Louisa County Board of Supervisors are seeking applications for a volunteer, Louisa County Conservation Board member.  The term begins in January 2018 and last for five years.  Applicants must be a resident of Louisa County and be at least 18 years old.  State law requires boards to be gender balanced. 

The five-member board serves without pay.  The position description includes: establishing the policies, procedures and goals for Louisa County Conservation.  Board meetings are currently held on the second Wednesday of the month, typically at the Louisa County Complex although the location sometimes changes and some special meetings are held throughout the year for special projects.
